How to
create Credit Memo – Cloud
First locate the “Credit Memo” under “Customers”
Click on “Create CM” located on the top right-side of the
screen
Search the “customer” for the credit memo.
Credit memo could be created by the “style by invoice”, “invoice”,
or “style”.
If “Return Authorization” has been created, enter it in
the RA#.
Once you have added a style or invoice for the credit memo,
make sure you select an option from “warehouse”, “RA reason”, and “Damage Reason”.
Only select “RA reason” if Return Authorization has been created.
If not, just leave “RA reason” blank and select an option for “Damage reason”
If a warehouse in the “warehouse” dropdown has been
selected, the style will be added back to inventory.
If “damage” is selected, it will NOT be added back to
inventory.
When everything is selected and filled out, click save to
finalize and create the credit memo.
To ensure the credit memo has been created, make sure there
is a number instead of the wording “Create CM”.
