Trade Show Prep: Checklist

PLEASE download the attached PDF on the bottom and print a new copy each time you go out to a show so you can always have some peace of mind while on the road! 

TRADE SHOW CHECKLIST

Equipment checklist

Pack, charge, and ensure equipment is functioning:

  1.  Workstation laptop
  2.  Show server 
  3.  Scanners and iPods/iPhones
  4.  Printer and cables
  5.  Ethernet adapter (double check adapter is working)
  6.  Extra cables: LAN and power cables
  7.  Hotspot/router devices (ie PepWave, Ruckus)
    1. Please do not use home routers!!
  8.  Optional: Unlimited 5G SIM card for PepWave
  9.  Network Switch (if needed)

BEFORE LEAVING FOR TRADE SHOW


1.    Replication of show server and main server

a.    both servers should have updated VPN on for replication

2.  (Desktop version only)  Double click the two folders on your Desktop

a.    “sync_images.bat”

b.    “sync_n41.bat”





3.    Update your server’s Windows to latest version


BEFORE TRADE SHOW STARTS

1.    Check cables are properly connected

2.    Use wired connection and turn off Wi-Fi on your laptop

3.    Ensure your show server’s IP is configured on your iPods/iPhones

4.    Watch our mobile app set up video to double check proper settings

5.    Double check your printer settings are correct
