Show Server Set-up

We recommend companies to bring 2 laptops to the shows:

1. Show Server

2. Taking orders

 

Set up the server and don’t touch.

 

A CONNECTS TO ALL B C D

A – (PEPWAVE) – provides WIFI

B – (RUCKUS) – extends WIFI (move them away from other electronic devices if possible)

C – (Show Server)

D – (Printer)


Do not connect laptops and phones to the same Wi-Fi. It will slow down your iPod scanners!!


To connect to VPN, click on the Tailscale in the bottom right 

The credentials are in the desktop, in case you log out

Then run Sync N41 & image N41 before going to the show in the warehouse/store, and once more at the hotel before the show (proceed with different Wi-fi from show server, doesn‘t matter and it will take a lot of data)

To sync the orders taken from the show, 

1) run Microsoft SQL server.


Automatically select Server name – Show Server name

Automatically select Authentication – Windows Authentication


2) Then click Replication/Local Subscriptions/[N41]/View Synchronization Status



3) Click Start.

** Only works with VPN and Wi-Fi **

On mobile devices:

Open N41 mobile. Password is n41

You will need the IP address from the server laptop.

Port 9090

Windows search cmd/ipconfig/



With the scanners you only take orders and check inventory.
