Need to Allocate
The portion of the open order quantity that is awaiting/needing allocation.
Allocation, Pick, Shipment
Status indicators showing where quantities are in the process
OTS: Open to Sell
OTS = OH - SO
Open to Sell: On-hand stock minus open orders — what is immediately available for sale.
WIP (Open PO)
Work in progress: Items currently in production.
ATS
Available to Sell = OTS + WIP
Representing both immediately available stock and incoming inventory, useful for preorders.
Available to Allocate
The portion of on-hand stock that is available for allocation.
