Q. When I double click N41, I get error message says “Unable to connect using C:\NVLT\nvlt.ini”
Possible Cause & Solution;
Check N41 network drive is connected.
Go to “Computer” or “My Computer” and double click N drive or Z drive.
If you can’t access N nor Z drive, check your network cable, switch, and server.
Check your network connection
Open a web browser and see if you can view general websites
Go to “Control Panel”, “Network” or “Network and Sharing”. Check your network is properly functioning.
Please check your network cable, switch, and server hardware is properly functioning.
Check your non-Unicode language
For Windows &
Go to “Control Panel”, “Region and Language”, “Administrative”
Make sure “Current language for non-Unicode programs” is “English (United States)”
For Windows XP
Go to “Control Panel”, “Regional Setting”, “Advanced”
Make sure “Current language for non-Unicode programs” is “English (United States)”
Q. When I double click N41, I get error message saying “Please close N41 first!”
Possible Cause & Solution;
1. N41 is trying to update with a newer version but you have N41 still running.
2. Close opened N41 and try again
3. If you still get same error, go to “Task Manager” and “Processes”. Click “nvlt.exe” process and click “End Process”
4. Click “Yes” when prompted “Do you want to end ‘nvlt.exe*32’?”
Q. I think my N41 is not getting updated.
Possible Cause & Solution;
1. Check N41 network drive is connected.
a.Go to “Computer” or “My Computer” and double click N drive or Z drive.
b.If you can’t access N nor Z drive, check your network cable, switch, and server.
2. If you still not getting updated after connecting N or Z drive, Go to “My Computer” or “Computer”, “C” drive, “NVLT” folder. Double click “n41upd.exe”
Q. How can I update N41 manually?
Close N41,
Go to “My Computer” or “Computer”, “C” drive, “NVLT” folder. Double click “n41upd.exe”
Or
Close N41
Go to “My Computer” or “Computer”, “C” drive, Delete “NVLT” folder.
Go to N41 network drive “N” or “Z”, right click “NVLT” folder, Copy
Go to “My Computer” or “Computer”, right click C drive, Paste.
