Magento 2 Website: How to upload Logo and Favicon
You can upload the header logo, email logo and Favicon for your Magento2 website in the Admin portal.

Go to Admin > CONTENT > Design > Configuration > (Edit)
Favicon
1-1. Create a 16px*16px or 32px*32px graphic image of your logo.
1-2. Expand 'HTML Head'.
1-3. Upload the Favicon logo. (allowed file types: jpg, gif, png, ico, apng)
1-4. (Wait until the image is loaded) then Save Configuration.
2. Header Logo
2-1. Expand 'Header'.
2-2. Upload the Favicon logo. (allowed file types: jpg, gif, png)
2-3. (Wait until the image is loaded) then Save Configuration.
3. Transactional Emails logo (email template logo)
3-1. Expand 'Transactional Emails'.
3-2. Upload the logo image. (allowed file types: jpg, gif, png)
3-3. (Wait until the image is loaded) then Save Configuration.
4. Clear Cache
