iPod - Troubleshooting

Printer
  1. Show printer is not working
  1. Check if printers work in other programs (printer names: PRINTER1-4)
  2. In Windows Task Manager, check how many Foxit Reader 8.3 or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC are running
    1. If more than 2, End Task them
    2. even after multiple prints, there should only be one Foxit Reader 8.3 or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC process running

  1. Printer is not working after the initial print upon Show server bootup
  1. Check Foxit Reader's current version. It occurs when Foxit Reader 8.3 collides with Windows patch. Update Foxit Reader 8.3 to 8.3.1

  1. Print is not in the Windows printer queue
  1. Check printer name in Windows settings
  2. Check printer in iPod settings
  3. Check if if Identity in IIS > Application Pools > N41MOBILE set as Windows Login User
  4. refer to Acrobat Reader Settings for iPod for Acrobat Reader prints
iPod
  1. Cannot log into iPod
  1. Check Wifi connections
  2. Check Server IP and Port in N41Mobile Settings then press REQUEST
    1. If you don't see Settings saved
      1. Check IP and Port in Show Server
      2. Check for recent Anti-virus Application settings - refer to Firewall_McAfee

  1. Cannot connect to n41.com error
  1. This occurs when iPod and webservice versions do not match
    1. try to enable internet connections for Pepwave or
    2. go to http://n41.com/m and download appropriate version
      1. you can check version in web.config > N41MOBILE_VER

  1. Cannot send email from iPod
  1. Check for password updates
    1. you can check them in web.config > EMAIL_ID, EMAIL_PASS
  2. For google email accounts, refer to iPod_Email

  1. Cannot update mobile app
  1. Download the latest version then downgrade or
  2. Uninstall the existing app first then download

  1. Untrusted Enterprise Developer error
  1. If you encounter Untrusted Enterprise Developer error after installing N41 App
    1. Go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management > Nouvolution > then Trust Nouvolution
    2. Refer to Install Update N41Mobile

  1. Error upon saving order
  1. If you cannot save SOD and encounter an error message like below, consult with N41 Dev team
