How to Process a Refund via Credit Memo

1. Go to Customers > Invoice.

2. Open the invoice that needs to be refunded.

      3. Click the magnifying glass under Paid amount to open the payment history.

4. Get the reference number (will be used when processing the ADJ AR).

5. Go to Customers > Credit Memo. Create a new credit memo and click on “Sold invoice”.

6. Select the invoice that you want to refund or return.
- If it’s for a refund, delete the details on CM (adding a style will update the inventory). You can set the sub total by starting with a negative sign. Proceed to Step 7.
- If it’s a return for CM, make sure the returned items are added so they will be returned, else you can relocate it to your damaged warehouse. Proceed to Step 7.

7. Click on Save.

      8. Click auto apply C.M. to Adj AR (refund).

9. Input the payment method.

10. Input the pay reference which is the reference number.

11. Check the invoice then click select.

12. A pop-up will show confirming to swipe the refund amount. Click “Charge” to complete the process.
