1. Map a network drive
Right click “Computer” or “My Computer” and select “Map network drive…”
Select the “Drive:” and “Folder”
N:
\\hd-n41\SOURCE
Drive letter and path is different for each company
Click “Finish”
2. Copy “NVLT” folder from N drive to C drive
3. Go to “C” drive and “NVLT” folder
Right click on “nvlt.exe” file, select “Send to” and “Desktop (create shortcut)”
If you see two “nvlt” files with no extension, select the one with red circle icon.
4. Go to Desktop, Right click “n41.exe – Shortcut” and click “Rename”
Type “N41”
5. Right click “Computer” or “My Computer” and select “Properties”
See if your computer “System type:” is “64-bit Operation System” or “32-bit Operating System”
6. Go to “Computer” or “My Computer” and the network drive (“Z” or “N” drive) and “DISKS”
If your system type is “64-bit” double click “sqlnclix64.msi”
If your system type is “32-bit” double click “sqlnclix32.msi”
7. Click Run If you get below prompt.
8. Click Next
9. Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" then click Next
10. Click Next
11. Click Next
12. Click Install
13. Click Next
14. Click Finish
15. Go to Desktop and double click “N41” icon
You should be able to login to N41.
16. If you get “Unable to connect N41” error message, go to “Control Panel”, “Region and Language”
17. Go to “Administrative” and “Change system local…”
18. Select “English (United States)” for Current system locale:
Installing Barcodes on Windows 7 machine
Start – All Programs – Accessories – Command Prompt
Right Click “Command Prompt” – Select “Run as administrator”
Click “Yes” when you are asked “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?”
Type below in sequence
cd \
cd nvlt
cd edi_dll
regdll.bat
